Family-owned business headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, StoreRight Self Storage has been offering affordable self-storage and RV parking solutions since 2010. Nine self-storage facilities located throughout Florida consist of approximately 600,000 rentable square feet and 5,500 self-storage units and parking spaces. StoreRight Self Storage offers a mix of non-climate and climate-controlled storage units at all locations. Additionally, many of our facilities feature covered and/or uncovered RV parking spaces.

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Self-Storage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards of customer service and facility management while ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong operational background, and a passion for helping customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, assisting customers with storage solutions, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the facility. Ensure all storage units are in good condition and visually appealing.

Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers. Promote special offers and conduct local marketing initiatives to increase facility occupancy.

Collections: Ensure timely collections and follow-up on past-due accounts. Facilitate lien sales as needed

Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Schedule employees and oversee daily work assignments.

Operations Management: Maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.

Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints and conflicts professionally and timely, providing solutions and escalating issues to upper management as necessary.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail or service-oriented industry.

- Strong sales and marketing acumen.

- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

- Proficient in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, property management software).

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
